Weather

The day started out sunny, but low clouds came in around 11 am limiting visibility to about 30 feet or less. It was precipitating (light snow) at 11,000 feet. Little to no wind.

Snowpack

We found mostly faceted snow throughout the whole pack on aspects ranging from south to north. There was a crust on south aspect packs. Memorably, a partner fell through a snow bridge while crossing a creek but used his arms to catch himself before being eaten by the abyss.
