Facets on top of facets. Supportive but weak (approx 80-90 cm of F/4F).

Avalanche

A loose snow slide triggered by a ski cut. This slide occurred on top of an area that was track packed with a snowcat on 12/18. It was slow moving and didn't propogate widely, but did entrain a good amount of snow. It was an approx. 15cm crown that stepped down to 30-40cm along the flanks. The debris piled up to approx 60 cm.
