A cold front dropped into the region as winds shifted to northerly between 8-10 PM last night, fueling and intense spell of snowfall. Snow showers are lingering on the north side of RMP this morning, but will taper off as the low-pressure center continues to peel east today. Passes: Mostly 5”-8” new snow in the last 24 hours, a little less in the Gorge and on Molas. Temps in the low, single digits. Weather stations: Temps in the alpine -5° to -11°. Winds currently NW/15-25 gusts 30-40 mph. Brrrrr. It is not spring yet.
