Tree line Hudson Bay Mountain

7cm news snow between 6 am and 10 am. Below treeline in open avalanche path east aspect Ski pen 25cm foot pen 60 cm. Hs about 135cm, easy to push ski pole right to ground. Winds variable light to moderate below treeline sounded much stronger in alpine from easterly and southerly quadrants Large amounts of cold drys snow available for wind transport. No settlememts noted. Total lack of cohesion in new snow from last several days below treeline but I assume there is considerable leeward soft wind slab forming in alpine. The main path of King Louie has not run to at least the main runout around switch back 11 or 9. No visibility for alpine obs.
