Weather

Blowing hard (strong NWerly winds on ridges). (We bailed on an ascent of Parnassus and a descent of its NE face on account of winds and snow transportation)

Snowpack

Lots of minor collapsing on flats and shallow angles but did not feel any on steeper terrain. Dug a pit before skiing moonlight bowl. Large amount of wind deposited snow but did not get any failure on a compression test. When pulled hard it came out on a crust. Corner Pocket felt very stable with great skiing.

Avalanche

Cornice collapsed on Bride of Frakenstein while I was watching. Impressive. There are a lot of big chunks down below the cornices.
