Up to 42 inches of snow in this region with the recent storm cycle the past four days. Most areas received 28-33 inches. Winds were light 5-15mph throughout the storm with some faster gusts at times, temps remained in the higher mid 20s during the day and low twenties during the night. Feb 20 between midnight and 8am the first 8-12 inches of snow fell. After 11am snow began again and gradually became lighter throughout the day and night. Very light density powder with mild wind through early this morning.
Snowpack
Various layers of depth hoar, facets, surface hoar frosts, wind slabs, soft slabs and powder on northwest through southeast aspects below treeline; south through west sun exposed areas have suncrusts and melt/freeze crusts mixed in; above treeline various wind slabs, suncrusts, and powder above faceting soft slabs and depth hoar. Average depth in wind free shady areas is 60-70 inches.
