Weather

Clear, calm, +4 C.

Snowpack

Wind-distributed new snow over old depth and surface hoar. Approximately 1 metre of new unsettled snow on the valley floor, variable-depth wind-compacted and drifted snow on N/NE/NW slopes.

Avalanche

Two small slabs, approximately 60cm crown, on a 40-degree NE aspect below the Ressurection Mine. Both broke from the groomed trail so I suspect the snowcat was the trigger.
