Weather

Light snowing most of day. Lunchtime warming for 1-2 hours at bottom. Whumping down low when sun came out. Afternoon finished very cold.

Snowpack

Pit at top 10-12 feet to ground. Recent storm was top 3'. Below recent storm layer was 2" crust, very solid, beginning to be icy on the bottom side of layer. No air at ground.

Avalanche

One slide possibly skier triggered on Sunday where skier skirted the edge of a 25 deg to 35 deg transition. Slide ran few hundred feet down 35 deg slope x few hundred across. Facture occurred in top 3' layer only and did not step into deeper layers. Facture ran mostly uphill from trigger point. Skier tracks cleared no problem as skier stayed to 25 deg slope and did not cross the transition to stepper slope. Trigger was in wind loaded area. No concern skier was caught.
