Weather

mostly sunny, ridge top winds 20-25mph gusting a bit higher in places, winds fairly calm in the valleys

Snowpack

Snowpack structure and visible clues such as wind pillows and enlargened cornices still very much reinforce that human triggered avalanches are likely in the area and that natural avalanches are possible. There was some minor cracking present and no whumping/collapsing was observed today.

Avalanche

A few crown lines were still visible from the natural avalanche cycle that occurred around 1/10-1/11 but many of the old crown lines were filled in with new windslabs and not visible anymore. Besides the obvious CDOT triggered slide in Stanley there did not appear to be any new, natural avalanches in the last 24-48 hrs in the areas we toured.
