Weather: Overcast skies with seldom patch of blue, temps in teens, light snow, moderate to strong WNW winds

SNOWPACK OBS: On south terrain evidence of sun crust from Sunday below 4” of storm snow. Storm snow seems to be bonding well with existing crust, and hand shear tests and ski cuts provided no results. Extensive snow transport on ridges near and above treeline. Wind slabs on ridge had widespread cracking, large cornices have formed and those that exist are continuing to reach over loaded terrain. Looked at the crown above the natural slide into Coon basin from Friday night, is approximately 3ft and was the result of a cornice drop.
