Weather

A strong cold wind from the north, even below treeline. It remained north all day, but lost it's bite by mid-day.

Snowpack

Near and below treeline a wide spread covering of surface facets. In some open areas these were getting eroded from the north wind.

Avalanche

Half dozen WLNR1D1's on southerly aspects from today. Area always has activity when it gets warm. Saw a week old Wind Slab avalanche, also on a south aspect (Heavily X loaded west aspect gully feature). All above treeline.
