Snowpack
HST at 10,500 had settled from 149cm to 125cm since recon tour last Sunday, Mod CT scores on buried SH layer from Jan. ECTP21 Q2. Rode small N - NE bowl up behind hut (11,600-11,000ft) on 35-40 degree terrain with multiple convex rolls and small cliffs. Observed no cracking, breaking or whoomphing. Only small loose sluff on 40+ terrain. Snow surface comprised of recycled powder and surface hoar with a strong 1 finger settled base. This bowl had settlement cones 18 inches tall. Snowpack on W-S aspects was very supportive and creamy or crusty depending on time of day.
