Weather

Fairly nice day. A mix of clouds and sun. Westerly winds were very strong on both sides of the range. There were signs of previously wind-drifted snow even at lower elevations.

Snowpack

The snowpack is thin. Most of the snow has been redistributed by the wind and is now just below the ridge-lines and in gully features on northeast through east to south facing slopes mostly above treeline, but the wind drifts spill into the near treeline elevation band on the east side of the range. There is little to no snow below treeline.
