Snowpack

About 4" of snow accumulated from Tuesday night through Wednesday night. Lots of evidence of deep slab/wet slab cycle from last Sun-Tues warmup. All of the activity was on east and northwest aspects near and above treeline. Zero surface melting has occurred on high, north facing slopes and they are still full-winter snowpack. NE and NW aspects above 12,000 ft have melt-freeze forms from 2-10" thick near the surface. East aspects have melt forms much deeper into the snowpack, except in some locations above 13,000 ft.
