The avalanche problem we found was very touchy persistent slabs where the wind deposited 1F slabs over the old facets. Around Coney's, this was from top-loading near the ridge and cross-loading in gullies adjacent to wind-exposed open slopes. In sheltered terrain, the storm snow was too soft to propagate cracks further than 10' or so, though the pack definitely felt "upside down" and cracked and collapsed often.
