Snowpack

Prior to Sat/sun storm, we saw a slight rain/mist crust on our upper elevations (9600 and up) Was a subtle "zipper" crust. Friday night's cold temps put a small SH layer (2-3mm) on certain aspects as well (observed on N-W). Yesterday we had a good deal of collapsing on S and SE aspects above 9600'. Mod-rumbling. Cracking Mod-shooting. Ski cuts on convex rolls resulted in several large cracks, but no movement. No other avalanche activity observed. Even on slope around 35 degrees, slab did not seem to want to move. Given the amount and scope of collapsing though, we are still leery of slopes above 35?
