Snowpack

Shallower snowpack here in the northeast Flat Tops than in the Rabbit Ears and Buffalo Pass areas. South aspects developing a sun crust today, and all aspects had 2-3 mm surface hoar on surface. The shallow snowpack is more faceted here as well. Still has well developed depth hoar at bottom of pack, but not much of a reactive slab above it. Steep, rocky south faces had bare ground poking through the snow surface.
