Bluebird day. Warm with plenty of sunshine.

Snowpack

The snowpack felt quite solid. HS 200-300+ cm. Foot pen 30 cm. Plenty of evidence of wind-loading from NW and W winds at NTL elevations. Snow surface was stripped somewhat and wind-sculpted on NW aspects, with drifting around terrain features and in cross-loaded gullies. Snow was getting a little thick by afternoon, but the snow surface stayed dry through the day. Folks were tentatively pushing into bigger terrain. Marble bowl, and the Alleys had quite a few tracks by day's end. No signs of instability were observed anywhere we traveled.

Avalanche

We saw one old crown on the NW face of Justice, looker's right side of the path. It was partly refilled from last week's winds. Other than some small sluffs from rocky, sun-exposed terrain, we saw no other avalanches.
