Weather
Storm arrived pretty much as forecast. Partly sunny skies in AM before clouds moved overhead, then low clouds in valley by mid-afternoon. Winds SW5G15 late morning, then veering NW15G20+ by midafternoon. S-1 flurries about noon, then S1-S2 as driving out.
Snowpack
The Big Green Facet Mountain. Snowpack similar depths as other areas in zone, but less consolidated, with better developed facet/ depth hoar layer at base.
Avalanche
Before clouds came in, looked like a possible D1.5 wind slab on south face of Ashcroft Mountain just below summit. Likely several days old.
