Snowpack
The recent storm really favored Red Mountain Pass and north. Snowfall amounts rapidly tapered south of RMP. Storm snow seemed to only total 5"-6" where we were (just south of RMP). Recent snowfall was not sufficient to significantly stress the snowpack in this area. Areas north of RMP are likely much touchier. Northerly winds were moving snow onto lee ridgelines today, so expecting thin slabs to have formed on southerly slopes atl.
Avalanche
Widespread shallow loose sluffs (D1) from steep, sunny terrain with daytime warming.
