Storm skiing

Today is a warm and windy day. It is still storming, but we aren't seeing as much new snow as expected in White Pass this week. Temperatures stayed near zero overnight, so the surface snow is feeling a bit heavy. We skinned up to 1200m at the top of the trees in Fraser Chutes. The southwest wind was gusting really strong and increasing through the day. Snow is moving around in the wind so we paid close attention around those deeper pockets that build up in lee terrain.
