Bow summit / Jimmy Simpson Junior Bowl

Skied slopes above treeline on lookers left then traversed into Jimmy Simpson Junior Bowl. Westward slopes were wind affected but the bowl collected enough transported snow to save the base of our skis. Snow was poorly consolidated in the bowl. Not an issue today but the cold and clear weather has developed a layer of surface hoar just past the treeline.
