Avalanche

This description was pieced together by several different observers. 0n 1/19, control work in RO west on highland ridge, pulled out a small pocket then had sympathetic slides go into green trees, west 11,500' R2D2. Overnight or early on the morning of 1/20 South Highland bowl went natural from the ridge cornice, pulled out flanks all the way to the first bench down low.There were two seperate start zones running into the same track and debris pile. One is a R2D1.5 shallow slab on the South . The East facing slope looked like cornice that triggered a Loose Dry avalanche the triggered a soft slab lower down. R2D2. The two start zones combined added to the debris and destructive, D2.5, size of the avalanches.
