Weather

About 5"-7" of storm snow from yesterday and today with light snow (S-1) throughout the afternoon. A few breaks with broken skies but primarily overcast. Temperatures were in the high teens with light west wind and periods of calm

Snowpack

3/4 of the snowpack on a West aspect at 11300' on Richmond Ridge was composed of facets with ski penetration to ground in most places and only about 70-80cms of total snow. East aspect off the Ridge was a bit more supportable to skis and boot penetration was to the ground. The storm snow and the 1/6-1/7 snow are still somewhat cohesive with localized cracking around skis, but overall the snowpack is weak.
