overcast, gusty at/above treeline

Snowpack

210 cm on ridge of Sheep (11,500). 200 or so in the north facing meadows below the summit. (10,600?) Cornices actively loading, with lots of wind effect and a stiff wind slab on the ridge (6-10 cm thick?). Wind loading evident on most slopes, even well below treeline on Arkansas.

Avalanche

Large natural seen on N/NE aspect of Treasure. Looks to have run with in past 24 hours as crown was still defined. Looks to have run to ground. Crown at roughly 13,200.
