Breezy. Warm but not hot. SW winds. Increasing clouds in pm.
Snowpack
Surface wetting on most all aspects even into alpine. Dug on SW BTL and a prominent wet layer where free water was pooling in large melt freeze grains from a prior sun crust, 20cm below the surface. Below that, grains were moist but not wet, and a few prominent ice layers kept the facets below stubborn in tests, but when they failed, with hard scores, they produced clean, propagating shears. This layer was 35cm below the surface.
Avalanche
Two side by side in senator beck zone towards the commodore skintrack. Both wet slabs ATL SE aspect SS- N- R3-D2 shallow, on the small side of D2, estimated at 20 cm deep but propagated.
