Clear, calm conditions. 20F at trailhead at 0900, 30F in shade during the day and 35+F in sun.

Snowpack

Found surface hoar developed since Wednesday, very pronounced in valley bottom areas. Buried surface hoar layer below last storm snow reacted similarly to a few days ago, with same HS as weds in test spot, new snow layer has not settled much that I could tell on north facing slopes. Sun crusts starting to form on steeper south facing slopes.
