Sunny and warm at pass level. Windy on ridgelines
Snowpack
The snow continues to melt in highway paths above 550 and very little snow still lingers in start zones in paths near and below treeline. The most snow is in places like East riverside and other higher alpine state zones but the track is back to dirt. The snow surface was refrozen in the am hours but broke down with warming temperatures and sunshine. No signs of increasing Wet hazard besides a softening surface was observed. Master states as of 4/12/2021. Coal Bank 39"; Molas 39"; Red 47"; Blue Point 58"; Mon 0"; West lime is also back to dirt at the stake.
