Weather

Calm in the morning, S-1 low wind After 1200 winds picked up 15-20, viz dropped, temps dropped, it was generally unenjoyable

Snowpack

Found 80-90cm of new snow on bare ground, did not see any cracking/collapsing, no whumpfs, no obvious signs of instability. Up high where the wind was getting, around 11700+ there was a windslab forming 10-20cm thick.

Avalanche

Saw numerous (12+) naturals across the gulch on the N-NE terrain anywhere from 1-2 feet deep and 20-100 ft wide but was hard to tell what the bed surface was, I would assume the faceted snow at the ground. Didn't get photos because I was maxed out on breaking trail. It was muy dificil.
