Snowpack

Recent strong to moderate wind from the west, northwest coupled with snow received during the middle of last week loaded north and east-facing slopes above treeline. These slopes generally have thin but continuous snow coverage. The same aspects near treeline have continuous snow coverage in isolated gullies and shaded slopes with previous wind loading. West-facing alpine slopes are scoured to bare ground in most places especially in the Upper Frying Pan area near the Continental Divide.
