Weather

S1 with periods of S2. Moderate west winds with strong gusts. Warm temps overall.

Snowpack

Measured 25cm in the parking lot. Fist hard BTL on the west aspect we climbed. Some localized cracking and collapsing in more open areas that received more snow than the heavily treed areas. Small test slopes we jumped on produced cracking and failures on the old snow interface with little effort.

Avalanche

Decent size natural avalanche on NE facing terrain along the ridge. Was hard to get a good and safe look at it, but the crown line depth was about 1m deep. It ran 2-300 ft. SS-N-R2-D2 NTL NE
