Loosely consolidated wind deposits, some wind scoured areas. Minimal solar warming.

Avalanche

The avalanche was a wind slab triggered in a chute above Murray reservoir. The chute appears to be the drainage for the small pond above Murray reservoir. The avalanche was triggered approximately halfway down the chute. The avalanche appeared to be an R5-D2 with the crown extending from wall to wall of the chute. Crown depth appeared to be 12"-18", but was observed from a distance.
