@ 6:30 am- 33 degrees, humid, cloudy, clouds broke by 9, and the full sun melted the inch or two on new snow on the trees by 9, probably in the 40's

Snowpack

well it definitely rained.. below treeline was a dusting of wet snow on 8 inches of wet saturated slushy mess. near treeline-similar,once i got to above 12k it looked like it got below freezing and i wasn't sinking past my ankles.. but still no sigh of a solid freeze..

saw a cornice collapse in the current creek headwall..
