Avalanche

We dropped down the south east bowl towards Haystack at 11:30 for our second and final lap of the day after skiing the north east bowl 45 minutes early with no concerns of warming. The south east turned out to be much warmer than the other. Partner released and was caught in what we think was about d2r2 wet slab avalanche. He was carried maybe 30-50 feet before able to come to a stop letting the rest of the snow slide to the bottom. Our mistake was we noticed right before that from the rocky parts of the ridge, some small loose wet debris had fallen as well. We knew it was warming up, but not to that level and thought we had time to get down and out before anything would slide.
