Weather
Light south winds with moderate gusts. Below freezing temps up high, very warm below 9K
Snowpack
Frozen in am from lowest elevation to top. Pillowing on some north aspects up high near ridge lines but very shallow and not reactive. 4” recent snow ontop of dust layer. Snowpack consistent. Wet snow below 9K on descent.
Avalanche
Triggered loose small dry loose at steepest pitch that ran ~1000’. Triggered multiple very small wet loose slides below 9K in afternoon. No natural activity today. Small recent natural wind slab under cornice at top approximately ~6-12” deep by 50’ x 50’ and ran a few hundred feet. No recent cornice activity.
