Weather

Unseasonably cool temps, moderate northwest winds, cloud deck hung around 10000’ east of the Divide, otherwise few clouds near and west of the Divide.

Snowpack

Thin refreeze last night was slow to break down under cool conditions. Good corn skiing around 10 am on east aspects and noon on south. Knee deep boot pen into wet mush after the surface crust thawed.

Avalanche

No avalanches observes today before 1 pm. Several D1 wet loose and D1.5-D2 wet slabs from earlier in the week. The wet slabs appeared to be around 6” to 18” deep. See photos
