Avalanche

Numerous long-running Loose Wet avalanches occurred over the last several days, gouging to the ground and running hundreds of feet in steep (35+ degree) terrain. These areas are easily distinguishable now as the sun quickly melted the last bits of snow along the avalanche track to bare ground, so there are streaks of bare ground cutting through otherwise snow-covered slopes.
