Weather
A warm clear day with 31F degrees. The winds were gusting to moderate above treeline with banners of snow present.
Snowpack
The recent snow from earlier in the week has set-up well in this location. The persistent weak layers are buried deeply and are unreactive in most stability tests. Wind drifted slabs are forming on the surface snow that are unsupportable in the below treeline areas. Near and above treeline the wind transport is more rapid and has been firming the snow with increasing support. There is still a basal layer of depth hoar in the snowpack.

Several new avalanches within the recently wind transported snow on lee aspects.
