Avalanche

I was out in the mining district on Wednesday and rode a few south faces, didn't see any recent activity as far as slides, saw a few old cornice breaks. Went back out today on the sled and rode the same south faces but wow the activity! At least two very recent slides off the back of Little Ellen both on North to NE aspects. Lots of cornice breaks and small slides from it in easy Prospect Mountain bowl. Crazy wind loading! It was already loaded on the north through northeast on Wednesday but today was wild looking. The slides on Little Ellen broke to the ground, maybe two foot crowns, but definitely all wind load snow.
