Clear, calm, and cold.

Snowpack

There is a crust within the now snow about six to eight inches below the surface with another foot of new snow underneath it, likely from the warm period of the storm bringing wet snow and quickly developing into melt forms. The crust was soft and barely noticeable above 10,000 feet.
