Snowpack

BTL, the snowpack is still thin and very weak with an FC layer under the newly fallen snow. At the above TL, the fetch areas are about empty. The snowpack is thin and weak in areas that are not getting loaded from W winds on N to-E aspect. In areas where there is wind slab development, the snowpack is reactive with localized whumpfing. The bottom of the snowpack is strong, the mid pack is very weak, and a slab is developing at the top of the snowpack. See snowpit for mode details.
