Weather

OVC in the AM with lowering ceiling and light snow beginning at 13:00. Easterly winds 10-15 mph

Snowpack

Mostly week. NW-N-NE slopes held about 35 cms of faceted snow. The prominent weak layer is roughly in the middle of this. NTL and BTL is unsupportive facets with an occasion fist hard slab, but very intermittent. NTL and ATL is mostly blown out, but obvious wind loading and pillowy slabs where there is snow. We avoided these.

Avalanche

Nothing recent. Noted 2 old slides (1 week +) on NE facing NTL on open steep terrain.
