S-1 in the morning until about 12:00 and then it stopped. Lots of blowing snow.
Snowpack
I observed no obvious signs of instability but the snowpack structure is still very weak. On a SSE aspect I found the new wind slabs sitting on old facets and crusts. The decomposing crusts are making it harder to affect more advanced facets near the bottom of the snowpack. On a north-facing aspect near treeline I found that the snow from storms in early december in the mid pack are starting to round. I still got a propagating result more than a meter deep on buried facets with hard force. I wanted to look at a NW aspect but it was scoured clean. The further north you go in the 10 Mile Range the more connected the slopes become above the treeline.
