Snowing, northeast through southeast, 10-11,000 feet'
Snowpack
Dug several hasty pits. About 18 inches new in recent storms. On the aspects affected by sun before the last storm cycle, the new snow is bonded really inconsistently. There appears to be a thin facet layer just under the sun crust in many places and in those spots the new snow was jumping off the block before I could even isolate a column. Felt to me like that classic Colorado avy hazard classification: low with pockets of extreme.
