Generally clear skies, mild temps with intermittent gusts keeping the alpine cool.

Quite the mixed bag of surface conditions at all elevations on northeast, east and southeast facing terrain. An ample amount of densely tree covered slopes have densified surfaces as "tree bombs" have been slowly shedding from the canopy over the last 2 weeks. Wind abraded textures can be found on below and near treeline features where a steady breeze was able to funnel in. Cold-soft snow is erratically found amongst this location and elevation for the most part as temperatures have taken a toll along with the wind. Much of the alpine is wind-sculpted and eroded leaving variability in snow depths and knife hard to thin breakable wind-slabs. No signs of instability observed other than an isolated wind-slab panel on east-facing slope at 12,800. Snowpit observations were taken on a 38 degree NE slope at 12,100. Depths varied from 215cm to 135cm across this terrain sampled. Documented profile attached to this F.R.
