Weather

I observed light and variable winds with an occasional stronger gust from the west northwest throughout the morning near the Skyway weather station. Aside from the relatively cool gusts the temperature was warm and the skies had scattered cloud cover with mainly high cirrus.

Snowpack

The snow depth around the weather station varied from 100-160 cms. The surface snow is increasingly becoming weaker and deeper with near-surface faceted grains on the shadier aspects. There is still depth hoar on a crust near the base of the snowpack; however, the grains are showing some signs of rounding and greater resistance. I recorded and ECTX at the profile location.
