Crown lines (approx 30cm) noted in steep alpine terrain at 1900m with little run-out, presumably active on Friday Jan 22. Group (point load) triggered whumphing, whumphing during descent, small skiier triggered sluffs on steep slopes. Wind affected areas above treeline, reasonable riding conditions at treeline with challenging riding conditions below 1500m as a result of heavy snow on underlying crust.
