Snowpack

On SE aspect above TL HS generally varied from 30-45cm, with drifts up to 1m in favored, isolated areas. A stout (pencil hard) melt-freeze was present about 15-20cm from the ground, otherwise the snowpack showed the effects of the recent strong temperature gradients with fist hard facets above and below the melt-freeze crust. On a broad scale, the typical wind scoured areas in this zone currently remain snow covered.
