Weather

7758’ at 7:30am 1 deg F, 43 deg F at 1:30 pm, mostly clear skies and calm winds at ridge line

Snowpack

Top pack grossly right side up and consistent with exception of few wind drifts, widespread near surface faceting and isolate band of surface hoar around 9200’

Avalanche

Triggered loose dry that ran 400’ around 11,8k, not big enough to bury anyone but definitely big enough to push you around. Also triggered small slab around 9,4k on NE face adjacent to cliff face and rotting snow - about 20cm deep and 10’ x 20’ and running about 100’ - recent snow/wind press on top of facets. Old large crown seen sitting below ragged mountain? See shady photo.
