Snowpack
height of snow averaged 160cm on wind sheltered northerly facing terrain. Last storm beginning 1/26 fell amongst a layer of dust along with small grained facets. This interface yielded no results on instability tests. Further down in the snowpack, four finger hard basal facets are gaining strength through sintering and rounding which rests below a 1 finger hard slab on the hand hardness scale. A propagation saw tests propagated through the entire column on this interface (PST 80/150 End). Wind slab structure was present and easy to find. A column test was preformed just below ridgeline on an east facing slope which failed with easy results.
